7075 HARD HIGH STRENGTH ALUMINUM

7075 Aluminum Alloy has been the standard workhorse 7xxx series alloy. It was the first successful high strength alloy developed for good stress corrosion cracking resistance in sheet goods. Aerospace benefits from the use of Alloy 7075 because of its good balance of properties required for aerospce applications.

Applications

7075 Aluminum Alloy have applications throughout aircraft & aerospace structures where a combination of high strength & corrosion resistance are required.

 

Skin sheet, structural plate components up to 4" in thickness, keys, gears, high stress parts & general aluminum aerospace are typical applications.
